Tyra Whitson is an Edmonton-based folk singer-songwriter whose expressive vocals and poetic lyrics explore love, vulnerability, and change. Drawing on personal experience, she writes with emotional clarity and an openness that invites listeners to find themselves in the songs. Her live performances range from intimate acoustic arrangements to a rich full-band sound, building toward moments of shared release. Guided by her own words, “Do it scared,” Tyra brings that same willingness to be seen to her writing and her stage presence.
